Shadonna Wallace, Counseling Practicum Student
As a Master’s Level Counseling Student, Practicum Intern (LPC track) and psychotherapist under the supervision of Dr. Robyn Bone, PhD, LPC and Dr. Linda Metcalf, MEd, PhD, LMFT, LPC, it is my understanding that each individual person comes into therapy desiring to be seen, heard and understood as their full and authentic self. My personal and obligatory desire is to reflect that understanding throughout the entirety of the therapeutic process by supporting you with compassionate yet firm care. Viewing therapy as a collaborative process, I strive to create a space where each individual is honored for their unique experiences and personal strengths.
My experience includes counseling adolescents and adults that have been affected by a wide range of challenges such as; personal growth and self-awareness, interpersonal and relational issues, life transitions and identity acceptance, behavioral and cognitive challenges, and overall emotional and mental well-being.
As you take this next step in the process of exploring your most intimate concerns in a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space, it is my hope that new insight is gained and healthier ways of coping and relating are developed.
