I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with 5 years of clinical experience. I came to counseling from the education field, as I have always had a passion for working with youth. I have grown my therapeutic practice to include working with parents as well as children 4-18 years, and I use a family systems and attachment-based approach to therapy. I also incorporate CBT, Solution-Focused, and Mindfulness strategies to support my clients in growing their ability to be able to cope on their own when life presents them with new challenges.
I develop reliable, warm, and authentic relationships with my clients; and work to make the therapeutic experience as engaging and meaningful as I can. I use evidence and strength-based theoretical frameworks, along with trusting therapeutic relationships to help motivate my clients to want to (and have the tools to) create lasting positive change.
I have a background in ABA as well as education, so I have experience working with clients with Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, anxiety, depression (including suicidality), and other mood disorders.
