Need an objective and nonjudgmental person to talk to? You’ve come to the right place. Seeking help is difficult and knowing where to start can be even harder. I’m here to help you by meeting you wherever you are.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas and also a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC). I work from a culturally sensitive and developmentally aware approach that is person-centered. I also utilize Reality and Existential Therapies, Solution-Focused and activity therapy depending on the client and their needs. In the future, I am very excited to say that I will be offering Animal Assisted Therapy! My approach really depends on you and your comfort level. No matter the approach, I will see YOU and work to help you with your unique dilemmas and issues.
Prior to joining Family Matters Counseling Center, I was a High School Counselor for 6 years and a Special Education Elementary Teacher for 7 years before that. I have seen and worked with hundreds of children, teenagers and their parents all from diverse backgrounds.
I look forward to the privilege of working with you!
