What This Is? This is a practical, skills-based group focused on helping you manage stress, regulate emotions, and respond more intentionally in your daily life. You won't be told to "just relax" or "think positive." You'll learn how to understand what's happening in your body, and stay present when things get hard. What You'll Learn: - How to calm your body using breath and awareness - How to stay with difficult emotions instead of avoiding them - How to work with thoughts without getting stuck in them - How to reduce reactivity and increase control - How to shift your attention and perspective Who This Is For? Adults! Details: - 8 week-course (meet 1x a week) - 60-minute sessions - Small group (5-10 participants) - In-person at Family Matters Counseling (Alliance Fort Worth) • Virtual options are available by request

Workshop Booking & Payment Policy To reserve your spot in any Family Matters Counseling Center workshop, full payment is required at the time of registration. This ensures your seat is secured and allows us to maintain small, intentional group sizes for the best therapeutic experience. Upfront Booking Discount Clients who pay in full at the time of registration will receive a preferred booking rate (discounted fee). This discounted rate reflects your commitment and allows us to plan and prepare materials, staffing, and space accordingly. Cancellation & Refund Policy All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing prior to 24-hours before the start of workshop for a full refund. Partial refunds are not provided.
