Eureka Williams, MS, LCSW
Starting therapy can be hard. So, I commend you for taking this BIG, brave step. My clients describe me as easy to talk to, compassionate, and skilled at utilizing practical strategies to help them better cope with emotional challenges. It’s my desire to provide you with a safe and nurturing environment to meet your own therapy goals.
As a proud Clinical Social Work professional, I bring a wealth of knowledge in the field of mental health. With 12 years of experience, I treat individuals 13 and older who are at various stages of their mental health journey. I’ve worked with clients experiencing suicidal emergencies, those needing therapeutic support to cope with an impactful life event (such as the death of a loved one or a breakup), and clients seeking guidance managing their stress.
I use multiple therapy modalities in my practice and will tailor your treatment to your needs. For example, I employ Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) for individuals exhibiting symptoms of mood-related disorders. Through CBT, you will learn how your feelings affect your behaviors and actions, then acquire techniques to better cope with unhelpful emotions. All modalities used are evidenced based and have been proven effective.
Throughout my career as a mental health professional, I have held various positions, gained invaluable knowledge, and established long-standing relationships with colleagues. I am resourceful and dependable and would consider it a privilege to work with you.
